Vinothek by Geisel is our charming wine bar that is also a restaurant in Munich between Karlsplatz (Stachus) and the central train station. We share a great passion with our guests: our love of good food and excellent wines. Countless open wines and bottles of wine from all over the world create a selection that is unrivalled in our Munich restaurant. To go with our wine, we serve homemade pasta and other Mediterranean inspired specialities.

Felix Jungwirth

Felix Jungwirth has been the new catering manager at EXCELSIOR by Geisel since December 1st. With fresh ideas and a keen sense of the individual needs of guests at the VINOTHEK, Felix Jungwirth is pleased about the new position. He has been part of the Geisel Privathotels since 2011. In 2020 he completed his restaurant master with great success and since 2021 he has been the deputy restaurant manager of the VINOTHEK.

Chef cuisine

Thomas Kahl

Thomas Kahl is no newcomer to the Munich gastronomic landscape. He has already impressively demonstrated his good knack for delicate things in the Käfer-Schänke. The culinary globetrotter has been head chef at the wine shop since February 2017.
