Hotel Excelsior is centrally located in the pedestrian zone between Munich Central Station and Karlsplatz (Stachus).

For guests arriving by car, several parking options are available in the immediate vicinity. Please use Bayerstraße and the southern Bahnhofsplatz to reach Schützenstraße. After unloading your luggage and checking in, you can conveniently turn around and make your way to one of the nearby car parks.

The most convenient parking option is the nearby public underground car park at Elisenhof (Luitpoldstraße 3, 80335 Munich). Simply take a parking ticket upon entry, and our reception team will be happy to provide you with a discounted parking ticket afterwards, reducing the daily parking fee to the current rate of EUR 25.00 per day.

From Munich Central Station Public transport

From Munich Central Station, a wide range of public transport options are available, allowing you to reach every corner of the city quickly and conveniently.

All S-Bahn lines (S1 to S8) operate directly from the station, taking you straight to the airport or into the surrounding regions, among other destinations.

The metro lines U1, U2, U4, U5, U7, and U8 provide excellent connections to Munich's most important destinations – from Marienplatz to the Olympic Park and the trade fair centre. This is complemented by an extensive network of tram and bus lines departing directly in front of the station.
